Sinigang na Isda
Cebu-style sour fish soup — whole mackerel simmered in a tangy tamarind broth with vegetables.
Instructions
Sauté onion and garlic in a pot. Add the whole fish and sauté for 2 minutes each side.
Pour in 3 cups water. Bring to a boil, add radish and papaya. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Strain the tamarind pulp in some broth, add back to the pot. Add tomatoes and okra.
Simmer another 15 minutes until fish is cooked through. Add kangkong and malunggay at the end. Serve hot.
