Adobong Pusit

Squid adobo cooked in soy sauce and vinegar until tender.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Squid, cleaned
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup Vinegar
  • 6 pcs Garlic, crushed
  • 2 pcs Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Black peppercorns
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the garlic until they soften and release their aroma.

  2. Add squid and brown quickly for 2 minutes on each side.

  3. Pour soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves, and peppercorns.

  4. Add water, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until tender.
