Warm flatbread stuffed with muscovado filling. A Cebu street snack.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.25 cup Lard
  • 0.5 cup Muscovado Sugar
  • 1 large Eggs
  • 1.5 tbsp Butter
  • 0.5 cup Warm Water

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, warm water, lard. Knead smooth, rest 30 minutes.

  2. Cook muscovado sugar with water until thick. Cool.

  3. Roll dough circles, fill with sugar, seal. Pan-grill with butter until golden.

  4. Serve warm with gooey filling.
