Maruya

Chewy rice flour balls filled with muscovado sugar. A Pangasinan dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2.2 cups Rice Flour
  • 2.2 cups Boiling Water
  • 0.55 cup Muscovado Sugar
  • 1.1 cup Coconut Flakes toasted

Instructions

  1. Mix rice flour with boiling water. Knead smooth.

  2. Form small balls, flatten, fill with muscovado sugar, seal.

  3. Boil until balls float, 5-7 minutes. Serve coated with toasted coconut.
