Kipo

Pork and liver wrapped in banana flower slices, steamed then grilled.

Ingredients

  • 0.25 kg Ground Pork
  • 0.1 kg Ground Liver
  • 12 pieces Banana Flower inner leaves
  • 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil

Instructions

  1. Mix pork, liver, fish sauce, garlic, pepper. Form into patties.

  2. Remove tender inner layers from banana flower. Wrap meat in each leaf.

  3. Steam for 15 minutes until cooked through. Grill briefly for char.

  4. Serve as finger food with soy-vinegar dip.
