Fish Balls

Bouncy Filipino street food fish balls on skewers with sweet-spicy vinegar sauce.

Ingredients

  • 0.75 cups Fish paste
  • 0.75 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 0.38 piece Egg
  • 0.38 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 0.75 cups Cooking Oil
  • 0.38 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 3 pieces Bamboo Skewers

Instructions

  1. Mix fish paste with cornstarch, egg, fish sauce, garlic powder until smooth.

  2. Form into small balls. Drop into simmering water (not boiling) for 10 minutes until they float.

  3. Deep fry at 350F for 2 minutes until golden. Skewer 3-4 per stick.

  4. Serve with sweet-spicy vinegar ketchup sauce.
