Banana Custard

Steamed rice cakes with creamy banana custard and caramel sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Rice Flour
  • 0.5 cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 3 pieces Bananas saba
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Mix rice flour and coconut milk. Divide and steam 15 minutes.

  2. Whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla. Cook gently until thick custard.

  3. Caramelize sliced bananas in butter.

  4. Plate rice cakes, top with custard and caramelized bananas.
