Arroz a la Valla
Fragrant Filipino tomato rice — garlic-infused rice cooked with tomato sauce. A staple side dish for grilled meats and seafood.
Instructions
Heat butter in a pot. Sauté garlic and onion until translucent.
Add rice and toast for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour in water, tomato sauce, and salt. Stir well and bring to a boil.
Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
