Unripe jackfruit with dried fish cooked in coconut milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bs. unripe jackfruit (sliced)
  • 1 Knorr Shrimp cube
  • 3 cup coconut milk
  • 2 cup bago leaves (sliced)
  • 1 cup dried fish (dulong)
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • 5 clove garlic (chopped)
  • 3 Thai chili pepper
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 0 Fish sauce to taste
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large wok.

  2. Sauté onion and garlic.

  3. Add the dried fish once the onions soften. Cook for 1 minute.

  4. Add unripe jackfruit. Cook while stirring for 2 to 3 minutes.

  5. Add chili peppers and bago leaves. Stir.

  6. Season with 1 tablespoon fish sauce and then pour-in the coconut milk. Let boil.

  7. Add vinegar. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes.

  8. Add Knorr Shrimp Cube. Continue cooking until the liquid evaporates completely.

  9. Season with ground black pepper and fish sauce as needed.

  10. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve with warm rice.
