Sinigang na Hipon

Shrimp sour soup with tamarind and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 300 g Shrimp, peeled
  • 3 tbsp Tamarind paste
  • 1 pcs Radish, cubed
  • 1 cup String beans
  • 5 pcs Okra
  • 2 pcs Tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 pcs Onion, quartered
  • 1 bunch Kangkong
  • 6 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Boil water with tamarind paste and tomatoes.

  2. Add radish and simmer 15 minutes.

  3. Add string beans and okra. Cook 5 minutes.

  4. Toss in shrimp and kangkong. Cook 5 more minutes.
