Sago't Gulaman

Refreshing Filipino drink of tapioca pearls and jelly cubes in sweetened water.

Ingredients

  • 0.12 cup Sago Tapioca Pearls
  • 0.5 tbsp Gulaman Powder
  • 0.12 cup Sugar
  • 1 cups Water
  • 1 cups Ice

Instructions

  1. Boil sago until translucent, 5 minutes. Drain and rinse cold.

  2. Dissolve gulaman in boiling water, set in tray until firm. Cut into cubes.

  3. Dissolve sugar in cold water. Layer sago, gulaman, ice in glasses. Pour syrup over and serve.
