Pinasman
Sweet Filipino pork belly braised with pineapple — tender, caramelized pork in a fruity sweet-savory sauce.
Instructions
Sear the pork belly in a pan, removing excess fat. Add garlic.
Add pineapple with sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, and star anise. Pour in water.
Cover and simmer for 40 minutes until tender. Uncover and let the sauce reduce until glossy.
Serve as is or with steamed rice.
