Pancit Palabok

Rice noodles topped with rich shrimp sauce and toppings.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Rice noodles (palabok)
  • 100 g Ground pork
  • 1.5 tbsp Shrimp paste (bagoong)
  • 50 g Shrimp
  • 50 g Squid, sliced
  • 2 pcs Hot dogs, sliced
  • 2 pcs Hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 pcs Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 pcs Onion, chopped
  • 1 pcs Tomatoes, chopped
  • 0.12 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 0.25 cup Peas
  • 0.25 cup Chicharon
  • 0.25 cup Scallions
  • 2 pcs Calamansi

Instructions

  1. Boil rice noodles until tender. Drain and plate.

  2. Drop in the garlic, onion and sauté just until they soften.

  3. Add shrimp paste, tomato sauce, and 1 cup water. Simmer 10 minutes.

  4. Drop in shrimp, squid, hot dogs, and peas. Cook 5 minutes.

  5. Pour sauce over noodles. Top with eggs, chicharon, scallions, and calamansi.
