Nilagang Baka ala Bulalo

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb beef chuck (cubed)
  • 1 tbsp whole peppercorn
  • 2 medium yellow onions (wedged)
  • 8 cup water
  • 1 sweet corn (divided into 4 pieces)
  • 4 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 beef cube
  • 1 large arge baking potato (cubed)
  • 1.5 head small cabbage (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Pour water into a cooking pot. Let boil.

  2. Add whole peppercorn and onion. Boil for 5 minutes.

  3. Add beef chuck. Let the water re-boil and then cover the cooking pot. Continue to boil in medium heat for 2 hours.

  4. Add corn and then cover the pot. Cook for 1 hour.

  5. Add beef cube and potato. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.

  6. Pour fish sauce into the pot. Stir.

  7. Add cabbage. Cover the pot. Cook for 5 minutes.

  8. Transfer to a serving bowl.

  9. Serve hot. Share and enjoy!
