Mango Sticky Rice

Sweet mango with coconut sticky rice, Filipino-Thai style.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup Sticky rice (malagkit)
  • 3 pcs Mangoes, ripe
  • 1.5 cup Coconut milk
  • 0.25 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Soak sticky rice for 4 hours. Steam for 25 minutes.

  2. Bring to a simmer coconut milk with sugar and salt.

  3. Pour warm coconut sauce over sticky rice. Let absorb.

  4. Slice mangoes and serve alongside sticky rice with extra sauce.
