Kultyas

Kultyas is a simple yet tasty Filipino vegetable side dish. Juicy tomatoes and savory eggs make it the perfect complement to your favorite fried fish or grilled meat.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 6 clove garlic, peeled and minced
  • 10 large very ripe Roma tomatoes, chopped (about 4 cups)
  • 1 packet chicken bouillon
  • 0 pepper to taste
  • 3 egg well beaten

Instructions

  1. Add garlic, onion and Cook it until they soften and get fragrant.

  2. Add tomatoes and cook, mashing with the back of the spoon. Cover and Keep cooking, stirring occasionally, until very soft and release juices.

  3. Add chicken bouillon seasoning and pepper to taste.

  4. Add beaten eggs in a slow stream, stirring often to scramble. Cook it until eggs are set.
