Ginisang Sitaw
Traditional Filipino ginisang sitaw recipe
Instructions
Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the garlic and onions until softened and fragrant.
Add the ground pork and cook until browned, breaking up any large clumps.
Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes until they soften and release their juices.
Trim the ends off the sitaw (yardlong beans) and cut into 2-inch pieces.
Add the sitaw to the pan and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until tender but still firm and slightly green.
Season with salt and fish sauce to taste. Serve hot as a vegetable side with rice.
