Deviled Egg with Salmon

Deviled Egg with Salmon — fresh seafood prepared Filipino-style with garlic, vinegar, and calamansi. Briny, savory, and deeply flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 6 piece hard boiled eggs (cut in half lengthwise with yolk separated from the whites)
  • 5 tbsp smoked salmon (minced)
  • 3 tbsp green onions (minced)
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1.25 tsp salt
  • 1.25 tsp paprika
  • Fresh dill for garnish to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the boiled egg yolks.

  2. Add-in salt, paprika, mustard powder, minced smoked salmon, cream cheese, sour cream, and minced green onions then mix thoroughly.

  3. Scoop the mixture using a spoon and place it on center of the sliced boiled egg white.

  4. Garnish with salmon and dill then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Serve chilled.
