Dalgona Coffee

Ingredients

  • 2.25 1 ½ tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • 9 tablespoon 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 6.75 tablespoon 3 tablespoons water
  • 2.25 cup 1 cup milk
  • 0 whisk or electric mixer
  • 0 In a bowl, combine coffee granules, sugar, and water.
  • 0 Using an electric mixer, beat for about 5 to 7 minutes or until stiff peaks form.
  • 0 Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes up to ¾ full. Pour milk enough to cover the ice.
  • 0 Spoon coffee foam on top of milk and stir. Serve with a straw.

Instructions

  1. Spoon the frothy coffee mixture over a glass of hot or iced milk and stir. Serve with a straw. Garnish with cocoa powder, crumbled cookies, or toffee bits if you like. You can also drizzle with honey or chocolate syrup.

  2. The whipped coffee can be made ahead and stays creamy and scoopable. Transfer in a container with a tight-fitting lid and keep in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 1 month.
