Crawfish in Coconut Milk with Spinach

Ingredients

  • 3 large bs. crawfish (steamed)
  • 4 cup coconut milk
  • 5 piece long green chili
  • 3 cup fresh spinach
  • 3 tbsp shrimp paste
  • 1 medium onion (minced)
  • 3 clove garlic (crushed and chopped)
  • 1.12 tsp powdered black pepper or white pepper
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a cooking pot

  2. Sauté onion and garlic until the onion turns translucent

  3. Add the shrimp paste. Stir and cook for 30 seconds.

  4. Pour the coconut milk in the pot. Let boil. Cover and cook in medium heat until it reduces to half.

  5. Add the chili and crawfish. Stir and cook for 5 minutes while stirring every minute.

  6. Slide-in the spinach and add the pepper powder. Cook for 2 minutes.

  7. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with warm white rice.
