Corned Beef Pandesal

Corned Beef Pandesal is the heartier cousin of our classic Pandesal. This Filipino-style bread roll is the perfect anytime snack: soft, fluffy, and bursting with meaty corned beef!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 clove garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 small onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 can corned beef
  • 0.25 cup warm water
  • 1 (¼ ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1 cup lukewarm milk
  • 56.7 g (2 oz) butter, room temperature
  • 2 egg beaten
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 salt
  • 4 flour
  • 0.5 cup fine breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to the specified temperature and prepare your baking pan.

  2. Cream the butter and sugar together, then beat in the eggs.

  3. Fold in the flour and dry ingredients alternately with any liquid ingredients.

  4. Add or spread the batter into the prepared pan.

  5. Bake it until a toothpick comes out clean when you poke the center.

  6. Cool in the pan before removing.
