Cibae

Sweet steamed rice cake from Pampanga with grated coconut.

Ingredients

  • 0.8 cup Short grain rice
  • 0.2 cup Grated coconut
  • 0.1 cup Sugar
  • 0.8 pcs Eggs
  • 0.2 cup Coconut milk
  • 0.1 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Soak rice overnight. Drain and grind into coarse flour.

  2. Mix rice flour with eggs, sugar, coconut milk, and salt.

  3. Pour into greased steaming pan. Top with grated coconut.

  4. Steam for 25 minutes until firm. Cut into squares.
