Chicken Chow Mein

Filipino chicken chow mein recipe

Ingredients

  • 225 g Chicken Breast
  • 187.5 g Egg Noodles
  • 0.75 piece Carrots
  • 0.75 cup Bean Sprouts
  • 0.75 piece Onions
  • 2.25 stalks Green Onions
  • 2.25 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 0.75 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2.25 cloves Garlic

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water, then set aside.

  2. Heat sesame oil and a little cooking oil in a wok over high heat. Add the garlic and onions, stir-fry for 30 seconds.

  3. Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes.

  4. Push everything to the side and add the sliced carrots and a splash of water. Cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, and bean sprouts. Toss everything vigorously for 2 minutes until the noodles are well coated.

  6. Turn off the heat. Garnish with sliced green onions and give one final toss. Serve immediately while hot.
