Beef Nilaga

Simple boiled beef with vegetables in clear broth.

Ingredients

  • 333.33 g Beef chuck, cubed
  • 0.67 cup Banana heart, inner leaves
  • 0.67 bunch Pechay (bok choy)
  • 1.33 pcs Tomatoes, quartered
  • 0.67 pcs Onion, quartered
  • 2.67 pcs Garlic, crushed
  • 2.67 pcs Gabi (taro)
  • 0.67 tsp Salt and pepper
  • 5.33 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Boil beef in water with garlic, onion, and tomatoes for 1 hour.

  2. Add taro and banana heart. Simmer 20 minutes.

  3. Add salt and pepper.

  4. Add pechay in the last 5 minutes. Serve while hot.
