Beef Broccoli with Carrots

Beef with broccoli and carrot stew. This is best served over warm rice.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Knorr Beef Cube
  • 1 cup broccoli floret
  • 2 carrots (sliced)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 3 tbsp garlic-infused oil
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 0 Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté onion and garlic.

  2. Add beef once the onion softens. Continue cooking until the beef turns light brown.

  3. Pour the soy sauce into the pan along with the oyster sauce and sesame oil. Stir.

  4. Add Knorr Beef Cube. Pour water into the pan. Cover and then cook in low heat for 25 minutes.

  5. Add brown sugar, carrots, and broccoli. Cover the pan and continue cooking for 5 minutes.

  6. Combine cornstarch with 3 tablespoons water. Mix well. Pour the mixture into the pan. Stir and cook until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.

  7. Season with salt and ground black pepper.

  8. Finish by adding toasted sesame seeds.

  9. Serve over rice. Share and enjoy!
