Baked Salmon

Salmon baked in the oven until golden and tender. A hands-off Filipino preparation with rich, developed flavors.

Ingredients

  • 170.1 g (6 oz) salmon fillet
  • 1 tsp iodized salt
  • 1.25 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 cup spring mix
  • 1.25 cup organic grape tomatoes
  • 2.5 tsp balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2 tbsp crumbled Feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Pour in the lemon juice over the salmon and distribute evenly. Let stand for 5 minutes.

  2. Rub salt, pepper, and garlic powder all over the salmon fillets.

  3. Wrap the entire salmon with an aluminum foil.

  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  5. Bake the salmon for 15 minutes.

  6. Open the aluminum foil to expose the top part of the fillet. Increase the heat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and continue baking for 5 to 7 minutes.

  7. Remove the salmon from the oven and let cool.

  8. Meanwhile, combine spring mix, Feta, grape tomatoes, and vinaigrette. Toss.

  9. Transfer the mixture on a serving plate and top with the Baked Salmon.

  10. Serve.
