Chicken
Skinless chicken breasts or pieces are gently poached in simmering water seasoned with aromatics and herbs until the meat is tender, moist, and perfectly cooked through, ready to be shredded or sliced for use in salads and sandwiches.
Instructions
Add about water into a cooking pot. Bring to a boil and turn down heat until the liquid starts to simmer gently.
Place the chicken pieces in the pan without overcrowding them. Make sure they are fully covered in your cooking liquid. Add spices and herbs.
Cover partially with a lid and cook until the meat is soft and loses its pink color. If the chicken is still oozing blood, cook further until done. Serve with the broth.
