Pinoy Carbonara with Ham and Bacon

Ingredients

  • 300 g rams spaghetti
  • 68 g Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 8 strips bacon (cut into ½ cm slices)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 clove garlic (finely chopped)
  • 0.5 cup button mushrooms (sliced)
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 cup water
  • 1.25 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 0 Ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti based on package instructions. Drain the water and set it aside.

  2. Heat pan. Add the bacon. Cook until crispy. Remove from the pan. Set aside.

  3. Melt butter on the same pan where the bacon was cooked. Saute garlic for 10 seconds. Add mushrooms and all-purpose flour. Cook for 30 seconds while stirring.

  4. Combine Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup and water. Stir. Pour the mixture into the pan. Continue cooking while stirring until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.

  5. Season with parmesan cheese and ground black pepper.

  6. Turn the heat off and toss the pasta.

  7. Transfer to a serving plate and top with bacon slices and more parmesan cheese.

  8. Serve. Share and enjoy!
