Pinangat na Isda

Ilocano fish stew in coconut cream.

Ingredients

  • 3 pcs Galunggong, whole
  • 1.5 cup Coconut cream
  • 1 cup Squash
  • 0.5 cup String beans
  • 5 pcs Okra
  • 2 pcs Tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 inch Ginger, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce

Instructions

  1. Sauté ginger until they soften and smell nice.

  2. Add coconut cream. Bring to simmer.

  3. Drop in squash and fish sauce. Cook 10 minutes.

  4. Add beans, okra, and fish. Simmer 15 minutes without stirring.
