Pinangat na Baboy

Ilocano pork in sour broth with vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 333.33 g Pork shoulder
  • 0.67 cup Coconut cream
  • 0.67 cup Watermelon rind, cubed
  • 1.33 pcs Tomatoes
  • 0.67 inch Ginger, sliced
  • 2 pcs Chilies
  • 0.67 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1.33 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Add ginger and Cook it until they soften and get fragrant.

  2. Add pork and Cook it until browned.

  3. Pour coconut cream and water. Add chilies and fish sauce.

  4. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes. Add watermelon rind and cook 15 more minutes.
