Pancit

Traditional Filipino pancit recipe

Ingredients

  • 400 g Rice Noodles
  • 300 g Chicken
  • 200 g Pork
  • 150 g Shrimp
  • 1 piece Carrots
  • 1 cup Bean Sprouts
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 piece Onions

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice noodles briefly until just softened, then drain and set aside.

  2. Heat oil in a large wok over high heat. Sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant.

  3. Add the chicken and pork, stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  4. Add the sliced carrots and shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes until the carrots begin to soften.

  5. Season with soy sauce and fish sauce. Stir in the cooked rice noodles and toss well.

  6. Add the bean sprouts last and stir-fry for 1 minute until the noodles are well combined with the sauce.

  7. Toss everything together over high heat for the final minute. Serve hot garnished with green onions and a squeeze of calamansi.
