Paksiw na Lechon Manok

This is a recipe for lechon manok paksiw.

Ingredients

  • 1 large b. Lechon Manok (sliced into individual pieces)
  • 2 cup Lechon manok sauce
  • 1 chicken bouillon
  • 4 clove garlic (minced and minced)
  • 1 medium onions (minced)
  • 1 tsp whole peppercorn
  • 4 dried bay leaves
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1.25 cup vinegar
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 0 Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a cooking pot.

  2. Sauce the garlic and onion until the onion gets soft.

  3. Add the lechon manok (set roasted chicken) and pour-in water and lechon manok sauce. Stir and let boil.

  4. Add the peppercorn, bay leaves, chicken bouillon, and soy sauce. cover and cook in medium heat for 30 minutes.

  5. Pour the vinegar in the pot. Let the mixture re-boil. Stir and add the sugar and salt.

  6. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes more or until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
