Miso Soup

Miso Soup — fresh vegetables prepared Filipino-style with garlic and shrimp paste. A light and flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp shiromiso (white miso paste)
  • 4 tsp dashi or bonito granules
  • 8 to 10 ounces diced firm silken tofu
  • 6 cup water
  • 1.5 tbsp dried wakame seaweed

Instructions

  1. Heat a cooking pot.

  2. Pour-in water. Add the dashi. Stir and let boil.

  3. Put-in the miso paste. Stir and cook for 1 minute.

  4. Add the tofu and Wakame seaweed. Cook for 8 to 15 minutes in low to medium heat.

  5. Tranfser to a serving bowl. Serve.
