Ingredients

  • 2 lb ripe jackfruit flesh, pitted
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Give the pitted jackfruit a good wash and drain it.

  2. In a sauce pan on medium heat, combine water and sugar. Bring it to a boil. stirring them around until sugar is dissolved.

  3. Add jackfruit and Keep cooking for about 7 to 10 minutes or until syrup is thickened (the longer you cook, the thicker the syrup).
