Laing na Manok

Taro leaves in coconut cream with chicken.

Ingredients

  • 333.33 g Dried taro leaves
  • 333.33 g Chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1.33 cup Coconut cream
  • 1.33 tbsp Shrimp paste
  • 2.67 pcs Garlic, minced
  • 3.33 pcs Chilies
  • 1.33 tbsp oil
  • 0.67 tbsp Fish sauce

Instructions

  1. Soak dried taro leaves in warm water for 20 minutes. Squeeze dry.

  2. Cook the garlic until they soften and release their aroma.

  3. Add coconut cream, shrimp paste, chilies, and fish sauce.

  4. Add taro leaves. Simmer on low for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
