Kimchi Fried Rice

Kimchi Fried Rice

Pinoy meaty version of kimchi fried rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup kimchi (chopped)
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cup white rice (leftover)
  • 3 tbsp kimchi juice
  • 1 tbsp Gochujang
  • 0.75 cup pork adobo (chopped)
  • 0.25 cup bacon bits
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 0.25 cup chicharron (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp nori strips
  • 2.5 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp garlic infused oil

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a wok. Add garlic infused oil.

  2. Once the bubbles subside, add the pork adobo. Cook until the outer part gets a bit crispy.

  3. Add chopped kimchi and gochujang. Continue cooking for 2 minutes.

  4. Put the leftover rice into the wok. Stir fry for 3 minutes.

  5. Pour-in the kimchi juice, add sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Cook for 2 minutes.

  6. Add bacon bits and crushed chicharon. Add the nori strips and green onions. Cook for 1 minute.

  7. Transfer to a serving plate. Top with fried egg.

  8. Serve. Share and enjoy!
