Home Fries — fresh vegetables prepared Filipino-style with garlic and shrimp paste. A light and flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium baking potato (cleaned and sliced into cubes)
  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • 1 small green bell pepper
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.25 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1.5 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add the potato. Saute for 3 to 5 minutes.

  2. Add onion. Saute the onion until soft.

  3. Add bell peppers. Cook for 2 minutes,

  4. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir Cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve for breakfast as a side dish.
