Ginataang Lechon Kawali with Kalabasa and Long Green Beans

This is a recipe for Ginataang Lechon Kawali

Ingredients

  • 1 large b. lechon kawali (chopped)
  • 1 g pack Knorr Ginataang Gulay Recipe Mix
  • 0.5 piece Butternut squash or kalabasa (cubed)
  • 23 piece long green beans (Baguio beans, cut into 2 inch pieces)
  • 1 medium onion (minced)
  • 4 clove garlic (crushed and chopped)
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 0.25 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a cooking pot

  2. Sauté onion for 20 to 30 seconds

  3. Add garlic. Continue to cook until the onion softens.

  4. Put the lechon kawali into the pot. Cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Combine Knorr Ginataang Gulay Recipe Mix with 1 ½ cups water. Stir. Pour the mixture into the cooking pot.

  6. Cover the pot. Continue to cook in medium heat for 45 minutes. Note: add more water if necessary.

  7. Add butternut squash or kalabasa. Cover the pot and cook for 5 minutes.

  8. Add long green beans. Cover the pot and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  9. Season with ground black pepper and fish sauce

  10. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve!
