Ingredients

  • 0.5 lb bone-in chicken
  • 5 cup water
  • 1 onion, peeled and quartered
  • 3 clove garlic, peeled and pounded
  • 1 thumb-size ginger, peeled and pounded
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp peppercorns
  • 3 white corn ears, shucked
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 0 salt and pepper to taste
  • 0 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a pot, melt butter on medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.

  2. Mix in the flour to make a roux and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, then Add cream of mushroom soup and milk.

  4. Bring it to a simmer, then add the cooked chicken, corn, and peas.

  5. Add salt and pepper. Serve it while it's hot.
