Bean Sprout Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 large b. boneless chicken breast (sliced into thin pieces)
  • 3 cup mung bean sprouts (washed)
  • 3.25 cup scallions (cut in 1 inch length)
  • 1 small yellow onion (sliced)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1.5 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp cooking wine
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1.5 tsp granulated white sugar
  • 0 Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a pan.

  2. Saute the garlic, ginger, and onion.

  3. Add the sliced chicken breast. Cook for 5 minutes in medium heat.

  4. Add the soy sauce, cooking wine, and sesame oil. Stir. Cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Put-in the mung bean sprouts. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes.

  6. Add the scallions, sugar, salt, and ground black pepper.Stir and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  7. Transfer to a serving plate. Top with toasted sesame seeds.
