Arroz Caldo (Rice Porridge)

Chicken rice porridge with ginger and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 333.33 g Chicken thighs, diced
  • 0.67 cup Jasmine rice
  • 1.33 inch Ginger, sliced
  • 3.33 pcs Garlic, minced
  • 0.33 cup Scallions
  • 4 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.67 tsp Salt and pepper
  • 1.33 tbsp Fried garlic
  • 2.67 pcs Calamansi

Instructions

  1. Sauté garlic, ginger until they soften and smell nice.

  2. Add rice and broth. Simmer 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add salt and pepper.

  4. Garnish it with scallions, fried garlic, and calamansi.
