Teriyaki Pork Chop

Pork chops are marinated in a blend of light soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger powder, garlic powder, and sesame oil, then pan-fried or grilled until caramelized and juicy, finished with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds for nutty crunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bs. pork chops
  • 3.25 cup light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1.5 tsp ginger powder
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, ginger powder, garlic powder, sesame oil, salt, and ground black pepper. Stir.

  2. Put-in pork chop and marinate overnight (or at least 3 hours)

  3. Heat-up the grill, and then grill both sides of the marinated pork chops. Make sure to flip the sides every 2 to 3 minutes to avoid it from getting burnt. Don't forget to baste with the remaining marinade.

  4. Arrange in a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  5. Serve.
