Tartar Sauce

Filipino-style fruit tart — sweet filling in a buttery crust. A delicate dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp yellow onion (finely minced)
  • 2.5 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1.25 tsp salt
  • 1.12 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well.

  2. Whisk in the sweet pickle relish and onion.

  3. Add salt and pepper and then continue whisking until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

  4. Cover and then chill in the fridge for a couple of hours.

  5. Serve with your favorite fried fish dishes.
