Sisig (Classic)

Sizzling pork face and ears with calamansi, eggs, and chili.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork face meat
  • 100 g Chicken liver
  • 1 pcs Onion, chopped
  • 6 pcs Calamansi
  • 3 pcs Siling labuyo
  • 1 pcs Salted egg, halved
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Chili powder

Instructions

  1. Boil pork face and liver for 45 minutes until tender.

  2. Dice pork finely. Char-grill or pan-fry until crispy.

  3. Mix with chicken liver, onion, calamansi, chilies, mayo, and chili powder.

  4. Serve on a hot sizzling plate with a fried egg on top.
