Sinabawang Corned Beef

This is a recipe for Sinabawang Corned Beef. It can also be referred to as soupy corned beef.

Ingredients

  • 11.5 oz corned beef (Canned)
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 potato
  • 1.25 cup parsley (chopped)
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 clove garlic (crushed and minced)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 0 Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan

  2. Sauté garlic and onion until the texture gets soft

  3. Add the corned beef. Stir and continue to cook for 3 minutes.

  4. Slide the potato into the pan. Cook for 5 minutes while stirring once in a while.

  5. Pour water. Let boil. Adjust the heat to low and then continue cooking until the liquid reduces to half.

  6. Stir-in half the parsley. Note: you can add more water if you want your dish to be soupy.

  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Transfer to a serving bowl. Top with remaining parsley.

  9. Serve. Share and enjoy!
