Saucy Adobong Kangkong

Ingredients

  • 4 cup chopped water spinach (kangkong)
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 8 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 1 tsp granulated white sugar
  • 0 salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan.

  2. Once the oil is hot, fry the garlic until the color turns golden brown. Remove the garlic and set aside.

  3. Pour-in water, soy sauce, and vinagar. Add the sugar. Let boil.

  4. Add the kangkong. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Add salt and pepper. Stir.

  6. Transfer to a serving plate. Top with fried garlic.

  7. Serve. Share and enjoy!
