Pork Chicharon

Homemade Chicharon made of pork rinds deep-fried to golden perfection! Crunchy and tasty, these pork cracklings are crunchy, tasty, and are the ultimate low-carb treat. They are best served with spicy vinegar dip.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb pork rinds, cut into 2-inch sizes
  • 0.25 cup vinegar
  • 1 head garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp peppercorns
  • 0 water
  • 0 canola oil

Instructions

  1. Warm up some oil in a pan or pot on medium heat.

  2. Give pork a good browning, turning once or twice. Remove when done. in the pan.

  3. Add the aromatics — garlic, onion, ginger — and Cook it until fragrant.

  4. Add the garlic, pepper. Season it to taste.

  5. Cook it until everything gets tender and the flavors have melded together.

  6. Serve it while it's hot with steamed rice.
