Pork and Scallion Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 0.5 lb pork (sliced into thin pieces)
  • 4 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 0.25 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 bunch scallion (chopped)
  • 1 cup rice (cooked)
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Combine pork, soy sauce, ground black pepper, and cornstarch in a bowl. Mix well. Let it stay for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat the oil in a pan.

  3. Add the ginger once the oil gets hot. Stir fry for 20 seconds.

  4. Add the pork mixture. Continue to stir-fry for 5 to 7 minutes or until the pork turns medium brown.

  5. Stir-in the scallions. Cook for 3 minutes more.

  6. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve with a cup of rice.
