Linguine with Mussels

Ingredients

  • 2 large bs mussels (cleaned)
  • 1.5 lb linguine (cooked according to package instructions)
  • 2 cup white wine
  • 1 medium yellow onion (minced)
  • 1.5 cup parsley (chopped)
  • 1.5 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1.5 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1.5 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pan.

  2. Saute onions and garlic

  3. pour-in white wine and let boil.

  4. Add mussels, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir gently and simmer for 4 to 7 minutes.

  5. Gradually add the linguine while stirring. Cook for 2 minutes.

  6. Turn off the heat and transfer to a serving plate.

  7. Garnish with parmesan cheese. Serve with garlic bread.
