Lechon Lomi

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb. lechon (roasted pig meat, chopped)
  • 1 large b. flat miki noodles
  • 1.5 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 piece beef cube or 3 teaspoons beef powder
  • 1 piece raw egg (beaten)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 medium yellow onion (minced)
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch diluted in 3 tablespoons water
  • 1.5 tsp ground black pepper
  • 6 cup water
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a wide cooking pot.

  2. Sauté the garlic and onion

  3. Put-in the lechon and beef cube or powder. Cook for 5 minutes.

  4. Pour-in water. Let boil and simmer for 30 minutes.

  5. Add the soy sauce and fish sauce. Stir.

  6. Add the diluted cornstarch. Stir.

  7. Pour in the egg. Stir continuously until well incorporated.

  8. Put-in the noodles and ground black pepper. Stir and then cook in low to medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes.

  9. Transfer to as serving bowl.

  10. Serve. Share and enjoy!
